THE STORY

A dynamic and resilient mother, Claire, finds herself in an unthinkable nightmare when Nate, her optimistic, smartass 17-year-old son, is paralyzed in a freak accident. Her life is turned upside-down as she grieves with her son while simultaneously becoming his care-giver. Claire sacrifices her own friendships and even her marriage to protect her son’s future and well-being. Although initially conflicted at the prospect, she discovers that the only thing that makes a significant difference in Nate’s progress is providing him with an unlikely friend. This is a story celebrating family and love.
